My name is Sam Roberts. I build custom and restored motorbikes one at a time in Santa Cruz California. My bikes have been featured in magazines, blogs, videos and motorbike shows. I build bikes because they are piece of history, an expression of individuality and an intoxicating taste of freedom. Though I am often asked, I don't build bikes for other poeple; just myself.
My latest bike, CB750 Sandcast #538, just won the "50 Years of the CB750" class and Best of Show at the 2019 Quail Motorcycle Gathering. What an honor to be recognized by such a prestegious show!
